Used Dennis after the stove fitters severely damaged my fireplace hearth. Dennis came out promptly after first contact to look at the work and quote, he offered a good price and gave confidence in the ability to repair the travertine hearth. Dennis was absolutely brilliant. My brand new limestone paving had been ruined by a contractor who cleaned it with brick acid. The original installers said it was destroyed and would have to be completely replaced. Dennis came to the rescue and restored it to better than its brand new condition! Travertine patio cleaning. I am very pleased with the transformation of my patio which now looks better than new, and having been sealed should be easier to keep clean in future. I contacted Tile Doctor to ask if it was possible to restore old victorian tiles in our hallway. They were covered with decades of dirt and some tiles were broken or loose. Started looking at the option of hiring a buffer and discs and using the Tile Doctor site to source materials and guidance on cleaning. When hire costs and materials hit £150+, and this is withOut me having a y real clue or experience...I rang the local number. Dennis responded quickly and was with us to discuss and quote for work within a couple of days. A competitive quote (compared to the £150 and no knowledge) made this an easy decision. The work was carried out on the booked date and completed in the suggested time. Dennis was organised clean and tidy in working and can only offer the highest parasite for the end result. We were able to discuss options on the finished surface shine left us both so very pleased and satisfied! I would say without hesitation that this finished polish is better than that of the original installed tile. Our slate floor was in a terrible state when we moved in to the house - there was water damage and a great deal of what looked like irreparable damage. Dennis managed to correct all the damage that had b en done to the floor over many years, strip and re-seal it, and we now have a floor that looks brand new and perfect. This was a super job on a difficult surface. We asked Dennis to clean our bath stone capping covering about 20 meters of our front garden plus various pillars. There are some tall branches above the wall which added over time to the discolouration of our bath stone. He achieved a wonderful result and our now gleaming stone is evident as soon as we turn into our street from 80 yards away. He was very professional, starting and finishing exactly when he had suggested. He told us of potential limitations with the treatment. We were away when the job was finished and he told us to delay payment until we had inspected and were happy with the outcome. Highly recommended.

We have Travertine tiled flooring in our hall, kitchen/diner, cloakroom and two bathrooms. It was all laid 4 years ago when our house was newly converted. In the hall there was a crack across one of the tiles, and in several places there were some spots probably caused by me spilling some Viakal limescale remover while cleaning the bathrooms. I contacted "Tile Doctor" and Dennis got in touch, arranged a visit to provide an estimate and he came as planned today to do the work. Dennis was great. He resin filled the crack and polished it. He also polished all of the areas where there were the unsightly spots. I'm very impressed with the results and will happily use Dennis again. Highly recommended!

Dennis amazed us with what he was able to achieve on a very badly stained Victorian hall way. The floor had been covered for many years with plastic tiles attached using bitumen which had left the tiles badley stained. With had work Dennis has achieved what I thought would be impossible and helped to restore our beautiful hallway back to its original state.

Dennis faced the challenge to clean our sandstone mullions in the bathroom. Previous tenants left them covered in mould, the mould had penetrated deep into the pores, the surface was black. When Dennis had finished his work the surface was light, blending in with the color of the sandstone, and hygenically clean. He had not scratched the soft stone at all, we were very pleased with the result. Dennis will be back to our house again, in summer when the weather is warm and we can work on the outside surfaces of the stone. Highly recommend calling the tile doctor.

Dennis came to deep clean a limestone floor that had become grubby and dirty over a couple of years of use. Dennis was the restorer who renovated our Victorian tiles in our basement which had suffered damage due to damp. He spent two days carrying out the restoration and the results are quite remarkable. I'm glad We took some before and after photographs to remind ourselves what a sorry state they were in before the work was carried out. We contacted tiledoctor and arranged for a free estimate to bring two bathrooms up to standard after 10yrs of lime scale build up and general neglect to the slate floors and ceramic tiles. Dennis struck me as a genuine chap who detailed precisely what he would do and I quickly understood this would be a full days work using various products requiring various applicators etc. We went with the quote and when Dennis had finished - wow were we pleased with the results! Tremendous, so pleased we went with them.

I was amazed at how well my tiles came out. I several holes in the tiles due to drilling and you can't tell they were ever there, now I have no need to re tile the bathroom.
I also had the grout whitened in my kitchen and tiles professional cleaned and sealed, again the floor looks like new.

We had a tumbled marble floor laid quite a few years ago and have never been happy with the finish. (Person who laid it got grout all over the tiles which permanently dulled the finish). I could only get a shine with polish which made the floor slippery. The tile doctor was our last resort as we were seriously considering getting the tiles ripped out. Can't quite believe how great the floor looks now :). Wish we had consulted the tile doctor before. And great service. Definitely recommend.

The restoration of the tile did not reach the standard I was expecting based on the sample cleaning and the promise that the result would be 20% better than the sample cleaning. The tiles do not look much different than they did before cleaning, though now they are shiny.

Tile Doctor worked really hard on the Victorian Hall Tiles and managed to get rid of most of the ingrained "ripple effect" from the old carpet underlay that has seeped into the Tiles. They also sorted out the salt deposits that came up over the Weekend and they did a nice Job of sealing the Tiles on Monday.
We are VERY pleased with the results.

We have just had our lounge/ diner and utility room floor cleaned and re grouted. We are really delighted with both their excellent Customer Service and professional approach to our requirements. Dennis was well informed about all aspects of your products and was meticulous in the way he approached the cleaning and re grouting process. On the two occasions he came into our home , he was courteous and informative and took time to demonstrate and explain what he was going to do. He worked hard all day to get the job completed which was no mean feat as its a big area to treat.
Tim has also been a great help with advice regarding maintenance , products and future cleaning. Nothing was too much trouble. His company must be an asset to The Tile Doctor organisation and the dirty looking floor we inherited when we moved here now looks like new. I would not hesitate to recommend them to any future prospective customers.

There were a couple of areas where 'brushmarks' seemed to be embedded into the tiles, and there is one area of the skirting board with product on it. Overall, however, we were very happy with the finish and look.
