I had to take a lot of photos between contacting Russell and him coming to the house to see for himself, which took some time. After that he really got on with the job, and even pointed out that some of our shower cabinet had not been siliconed in, which was causing some leakage. He has done a lovely job and the bathroom looks like new.

Russell communicated extremely well leading up to the work being carried out. John completed most of the work and was very pleasant to deal with. The condition of our flooring wasn't great to begin with - many of the tiles were not floor grade quality, meaning they were very uneven in places. After the work was completed, the tiles were left much smoother and most trip hazards have been removed. We're really happy with how clean the tiles are now and that they're sealed, meaning they can be cleaned properly for day to day use in the kitchen. Whilst the appearance of some of the tiles has been improved, we were disappointed with the grouting. It's not very neat/straight and in places this really stands out, making the overall appearance less pleasing to the eye.

I appreciated very much the fact that Russell came to change the silicone of our shower and bathtub during the lockdown, when we thought it would be hardly possible to get it done. We had some pretty serious issues with a white limestone floor - a floor in fact that others were not too keen to touch. Enter Russell and Tile Doctor! We had the whole ground floor of a Detached Cottage's tiled completely with Multi-Coloured Indian Slate small flag type tiles, beautiful. But after renovations and work the tiles were imprinted with a build up of matted-in Construction Dust & Debris. We cleaned and washed and swept, yet we could not get a satisfactory clean, so we knew we daren't Seal the tiles, it would have been pointless and counter productive as we would have lost all the natural colours,,, Wait, in comes Russell and his team the Tile Doctor, after doing 'precisely' what they said they'd do, Clean, Seal and leave a Satin Natural finish, 2 Days and 'Presto'... As a retired Architect with extensive experience in the construction of large scale public building contracts incorporating both new and refurbished large areas of floor tiling I found the Tile Doctor's knowledge of materials and craftsmanship skills aligned with programming and people skills of a very high standard. The much used and often abused area of terracotta flooring laid some 20 years ago to our Family Kitchen and rear entrance hall was completed to our entire satisfaction by the Tile Doctor. Russell did an excellent job in removing a large acid etch mark from my polished marble floor. He was friendly, knowledgable and efficient. I now have renewed confidence in living with a polished marble floor knowing that, with the professional service provided by Tile Doctor, accidental spillages and the inevitable marks left by everyday living in a large open plan kitchen/dining/TV area can be dealt with and removed. We're absolutely delighted with the result. The floor, of blue limestone, was laid unevenly and unpolished. Russell and Heidi removed the lippage, polished and buffed the stone and sealed it properly, so it now looks the way it ought to have looked in the first place. It was certainly not cheap; but it was considerably cheaper than having a new floor laid - and it was done in three days without putting the kitchen completely out of action.

We did the work ourselves but Russell from Tile Doctor did some testing on the swimming pool Tiled area and took off what no other chemical we could find could do, so we bought the products from Tile Doctor and did it ourselves, we are very happy with the results.

Work was satisfactory in the end. We had to get Russell back as tiles weren't sealed after he'd 'finished' the job. Applicator pads & cloths were left around the house & on top of washing up on draining board! Nothing worse than a tradesperson telling you they're losing money on this job and what a good deal we're getting

Russell has made two tiled floors look exactly how I wanted them to look in the first place! A bad tiler previously ruined the lovely tiles we had provided & I hated both floors so much they were covered in rugs. Russell has corrected the damage and the floors look amazing. I don't want to put the furniture back as it will cover up the tiles. He arrived as promised on the right day at the right time,even phoned the day before to confirm arrangements, something quite rare in the building trade!! He left everything clean and tidy. The anti-slip treatment provided by the Tile Doctor is proving a complete success. The floor area treated which was rapidly resembling skating area where on wet days upwards of 75 people suffered slips has been transformed to a pedestrian friendly surface.
