We had our tiled kitchen floor cleaned and our wet room floor cleaned and treated. The kitchen floor now looks like new and we couldn’t be happier. Good job all round. Would definitely use Dave again.

David has said that ours was probably the most difficult that he had tackled, over 100 years old with years of build up and dirt. The test clean was quite difficult, and on the day it took David a lot longer and with a lot more effort that he was expecting to get the floor as clean as he could. He worked a long day to do the best that he could.

David did an excellent job cleaning and resealing a mixed material mosaic tiled, feature wall, in our bathroom, which despite reasonable care was showing signs of mould growth and limescale buildup. The mosaic consists of glass, mirror, marble and crystal beneath which is a white enamel bath, so the choice of cleaner and method used was critical to ensure no damage was caused to these materials. Not the easiest of jobs and rather tedious cleaning every line of grout, but the result was well worth it and the wall now looks new again and we are very happy with the result.

He worked hard and remarkably quickly to return our Terracotta floor tiles to their former glory which was not easy as they had not been professionally cleaned and polished since they were laid about 25 years ago. As a result of the work, some areas look much better than others as the Hall & Shower Room were
so badly damaged with water that they couldn't be cleaned properly.

Dave called me back on the same day I first sent an email. I also sent an email to a competitor but as Dave was so efficient and able to do a sample test so quickly it was an easy choice for me. We are really pleased with the difference that David has made to our newly laid black limestone front path. After the building work was finished there was a lot of grout haze across the slabs, which really spoilt their appearance. David spent a lot of time with us testing appropriate solutions before completing the whole job over a weekend. professional and perfectionist!
He had two challenging floors to do for me -one 17 years old travertine marble that had seen better days, dirty brown, full of holes. It is now like new again,pale cream with a beautiful soft sheen.
The other was quarry tiles where I had removed floor paint and despite my best efforts there was still paint in the grout lines and very grimy from the paint remover. Again these are now clean polished and gleaming like new.
Both floors are stunning as Dave was determined that they should be perfect.
Dave provided a friendly meticulous service and I would not hesitate to recommend him to see what he can do with your floors!

I have been having problems with my travertine floor since shortly after installation 2 years ago. It seemed to get dirty very quickly and nothing made a difference. Scrubbing, steam. I was in despair. Googled 'clean stone floor' with not much success. Then one day I got lucky and found the Tile Doctor. From the first callback I felt reassured and only had to wait a couple of days before I spoke to Dave. (He had tried to phone a couple of times) He was so pleasant and helpful and reassuring about being able to restore our floor. It was positively thrilling to arrive home to find our floor restored to its original beauty - now I remember why I went for travertine in the first place. I absolutely love it. Dave transformed our old clay-tiled floor which had been covered by a carpet. He cleaned off the old glue and sealed the floor to a lovely subtle sheen.

We were given the task to revive the original flagstone floor that had been maintained very poorly for a number of years. It was a commercial project(trading Pub)in a sensitive environment demanding out of hours works. This wasn't a problem for Dave and the Team. The work was carried out very professionally and promptly with minimal fuss. I Would recommend using David Carson and the tile doctor team for any flag stone restoration projects we have based on the recent work they completed.
