After 12 years the tiling in our walk-in shower was looking tired in spite of my regular attempts at removing moderate mould in the grout and in the decorative inserts.After contacting 'Tile Doctor' I was quickly contacted by Alastair ,who works in our postcode area.He asked us to send a couple of photos of the job and was able to quote us for the job from those, as a result of which we asked him to do the work. We were left with a nightmare of a patio (black limestone) after paving company made a mess whilst laying it and further damage trying to rectify it. We contacted Tile doctors for advice. Alastair reviewed the work and gave us a reasoble quote. We had to wait a few months over winter till weather improves. Alastair has been fantastic with everything from advice, professionalism, friendliness and quality of work. We are left with a fabulous looking patio, which is almost as good as we imagined it. Alistair responded to our telephone query the same day and within 24 hours had provided a very competitive estimate and time & date for the work. This was promptly accepted by us. On the day in question A istair turned up on time quickly got to work and did not stop for almost 8 hours during which he totally renovated our two shower cubicles so that they looked like brand new. He also offered, at no extra cost, to reseal out vanity units and toilets. The service he provided totally exceed our expectations which were already high due to the previous very positive reviews. Alastair provides first class service. He and his son have just left and I am admiring my new floor. They spent yesterday cleaning it, revealing again the hundred and twenty yer old quarry tiles. Today they have polished and sealed them.
I certainly don’t want to cover the floor with rugs any more. It looks amazing.

Work was carried out to repair and renew the ensuite tiled shower cubicle, which was in a sorry state with a couple of loose tiles detached from the wall, damaged / missing grout, rotten sealant, black spots f om damp etc. The guys were very professional and got stuck into the job straight away and cleaned up after. The shower looks fantastic now and I love it. I am very impressed with the quality of the work, professionalism and the price and I would absolutely recommend this company.

I thought that my floor tiles were a lost cause as they were covered in ingrained white dust that I just couldn't remove. I even got a firm of professional cleaners in, but they weren't able to clean it off either. However Alastair came to my rescue and did an amazing job. My tiles are now completely transformed and look beautiful. I'm really thrilled with the results and would wholeheartedly recommend Alastair's work. The price was very reasonable too.

We are absolutely thrilled with the work carried out. Our hall way has thoroughly been restored to an excellent standard. Alistair and Andy worked so hard, they genuinely did not stop. Excellent service throughout. In depth email reply explaining the process. Available on a day that was convenient to me. Reasonable quote in advance. Timely arrival. Professional attitude. Really pleased with the finished condition of the floor. Went the extra mile with finishing touches that I hadn't previously mentioned but were no bother to him. Had an issue with water leaving a mark on the sealant a few days later but Alastair came back within 24hrs and spent a couple of hours repairing it FOC. Really impressed and delighted by the service.
