Andrew was absolutely brilliant. Our new tiles were in a poor state after builders did some work without covering them properly. Andrew came down first to make a full assessment and then proposed a solution. It worked wonders - they were as good as new after his treatment. Andrew renovated the compressed black marble tiles in our bathroom and walk-in shower so that the previous botched attempts at cleaning them (leaving a dulled blotchy whitened surface) vanished - and restored and buffed them so that they retain their matt finish but have a smooth very light sheen , an excellent job. He also cleaned and buffed the victorian tiles in our hallway so they again retain their matt finish but colour sharpened and brought to life - a lovely outcome.

Andrew Newstead did an excellent job on cleaning our hall tiles, which had been covered with carpet. When he did an initial inspection, he was honest about the possibility that not all marks could be removed and returned another day to do a test, which indicated that the cleaning would be almost fully successful, which it was. We are very pleased with the result. Andrew is pleasant, polite and hard-working; he clearly takes pleasure in his work.

Andrew visited to repair marble tiles from damage caused by Viakal spray and to repair damage to encaustic tiles caused by limescale. He visited before quoting and managed my expectations about what may or may not be possible with regard to the encaustic tile damage. He also advised us to remove the taps and shower valve before he started work on the marble to maximise the results which worked a treat. The before and after images are amazing and I'm pleased with the results.

We are really pleased with the work done on our groundfloor (including large kitchen/dining room) floor by Tile Doctor. The work took 2 days and was done by 2 really pleasant and efficient men. The floor (lime tone) was laid soon after we bought and then converted the house (a listed building) in 1999 and had got very stained and much darker over the years - now it is much brighter and wonderfully shiner - possibly even nicer than when it was first laid (so long ago that we can't really remember just what it looked like)! To put it shortly - it looks like new and we're delighted!

Andrew and his colleague restored the tiles in our Edwardian property's hallway very nicely. There was lots of grime, paint and glue marks on the tiles, a couple of tiles were missing where a previous doorway was. After their work the hallway looks brilliant. We uncovered an old Victorian tile floor in our hallway and thought it was beyond repair but Andrew did a brilliant job with it. Once the job got started it became clear that some of the old tiles couldn't be oved but the invoice was adjusted accordingly (and generously in my view) to reflect that, and the overall clean up and final sealing of the floor still left it looking fabulous and full of character. Andrew responded very promptly to my request to clean a Victorian tiled floor and sent his partner Jackson round to do an estimate. The work was scheduled in and Jackson attended promptly on both days, working hard. After 100 years and no deep clean in the 15 years that I had owned the house, the floor didn't come up as clean as wanted after the two days but Jackson was happy to come back and make sure it got to a state where I was happy with it. The end product is a transformation on what was there and it was great that Jackson was happy to invest the time to get it to a good place.

The flagstone floor in our dining room had never been professionally cleaned or sealed and had started to flake quite badly in a few places. Andrew suggested a deep clean and milling the floor where the flaki g had occurred. On day one he came with his colleague Jackson Davis and they worked hard constantly all day until they achieved the result they were happy with. On day two Andrew returned to check now the floor had dried out and carry out any further work need. He returned on day three and applied three coats of impregnator. We were amazed to see that the grey bleak flagstones we had before now showed colours we never knew were there. Andrew had explained the whole process beforehand so we knew exactly what to expect and was very neat and tidy whilst carrying out the work. A very professional service and we would not hesitate in using him again.
