I contacted Tile Doctor as I had recently purchased a house with a Minton tile hallway that needed lots of repair and renovating. The under stairs cupboard had previously been removed so lots of tiles were broken and missing. Kieron Norton provided a really great service in replacing the old tiles with replicas and restoring the remaining tiles in the hallway. Kieron was knowledgeable, explained the whole process beforehand and during, and also ensured I was able to get through the house while he worked. The hallway looks great now! Kieron was great, very friendly, knoeldgeable, and professional throughout. I enlisted his services to help with an issue with a slate floor which was showing signs of effervescence. Keiron cleaned, treated and resealed the floor. Rating of 3 is a reflection of the end result not Kierons overall service. Immediately after the work was done the floor looked much better however in the month since a lot of the effecvescense has returned and it is also apparent that the cleaning process has caused flaking on the surface of some tiles which wasnt present beforehand. I understand that this problem can be hard to treat but if I am honest I am disappointed with the end result bearing in mind the cost of the work.

Kieron was easy to deal with, responded quickly to all communication, he originally surveyed our floor earlier this year but due to the Covid-19 situation was only recently permitted to attend, he got in touch with me as soon as it was safe for him to return to work. He arrived with PPE and was very respectful of the social distancing rules, it was a couple of hot days and I expect wearing a face covering was difficult for him, I really appreciated this. As it is such an old floor I wasn’t expecting too much, however he has done an absolutely amazing job, the floor was quite damaged and very dirty but he has restored it to its former glory. He talked us through every step and it’s clear to see that he gets as much enjoyment and satisfaction in the process as we did. Kieron has done a fantastic job of our victorian hallway tiles. We had been quoted several really high prices by other companies, but kierons quote was a fraction of these. I initially wondered whether this me nt the job wouldn't be as good but after 3 days of solid work the results are fantastic! He managed to transform to its former glory, a hallway that was partly cemented over, had missing and loose tiles all over the place and was filthy. He definitely does a lot more than just cleaning!, We couldn't be happier with the results!
