The Tile Doctor was actually Steven's colleague Thomas. I moved house recently and Thomas came round initially to renovate some ceramic slate-effect floor tiles which were covered in debris and missing grout in places. In a couple of hours, he totally transformed them and they now look superb. Also, there was no mess whatsoever with the process and very little noise. I was so pleased with the work that he came back a couple of weeks later to renovate some wall tiles in the shower - these were grubby and the grout pink in places. They now look like new. He's coming back next week to renovate the wall tiles in my downstairs bathroom and I know he will do a great job. Thomas himself is knowledgeable, professional and very nice. Highly recommend him and his service to any one.

Tile Doctor did a superb job of restoring tiles that had been poorly fitted and were covered in grout. They also removed and replaced the silicone sealant around the shower tray and recoloured the grouting. Delighted with the work done and happy to recommend.

Steven and his colleague were both exceptionally professional. They arrived on time for the initial consultation and were on time for all 4 days they worked on the mosaic floor at our property. They worked diligently and to the works schedule they had originally proposed with no extra or hidden costs. Our original victorian mosaic hall floor dating from 1883 has now been beautifully restored and looks at its best. We are absolutely delighted with it and so glad we decided to clean and restore it rather than tile over it.

Plus: Arrived promptly. Seemed to understand what they were talking about. Worked hard while they were here. Very pleasant to have in the house. Minus:- Finish less good than hoped, with a number of marks left on floors. Steven and Thomas did their best to remove the marks, but were not 100% successful. Once the old screed had been chipped away and the hall tiles exposed, the tiles turned out to be uneven and it was disappointing that there was no solution to this.

On inspection of my bathroom tiles, bath seal and washbasin seal this morning, I could cry. The new grout and cleaning of the tiles looked ok last night but I thought once it had all dried it would be fantastic, but it's bad. I was told the work would be carried out by approx. 3.30pm but you guys didn't leave until 6.30pm!! You say that the seal round the bath looks uneven plus finger prints indented into it is because of the old seal underneath. I assumed the old seal would be removed, you didn't tell me otherwise! The tiles round and under the washand basin have not been cleaned. I'm gutted as I paid you £200 plus £120 to regrout my kitchen splash back tiles (which don't look that good either). NOW you want £50 from me to fix the seal round my bath and sink!! I trusted you guys as your supposed to be "professionals". I will contact your head office plus I'll be posting photos of my bathroom online. Have a nice day ???????? Diane, Paisley ????

Lovely guys, struggled to find a tiler willing to re-grout my kitchen floor then tile doctor guys explained that it didn't need replaced and Infact colouring would be the better option. This was done in a couple of hours with no mess, no dust and no hassle. Guys came out same day as they explained they were local and even carried the work out after hours to get it finished today for me. Second to none for customer service.

My marble tiles were badly damaged with vinegar, dull and black. Tile Doctor were able to bring them back to life. They were honest, and said they would not be perfect as they were too badly damaged into the tile at parts. Definitely a lot better than they were and to anyone else I am sure they wouldn't notice. Keeping my fingers crossed that they won't dull over again too quickly. Very professional guys.

The guys coloured the wall and floor tiles in my bathroom, kitchen, and en-suite along with re-doing my silicone seals which were discoloured. everywhere looks cleaner and fresher looking with silicone more tidy and white again. would reccomend steven and thomas for anyone requiring there services. The work was carried out originally on 30th August 2013 over two days. The team from Total Cleaning who carried out the work were very pleasant and friendly individuals who were all most helpful. The initial result looked good but after two weeks it dulled down into what we now know is the final 'satin' finish. This initially caused some disappointment. In fact the team on the second day did not provide the tile care sheet (they were rushing to another job) and this was only handed over on 9 December when Steven Thomson of Total Cleaning came to discuss the cleaning work. Had this been provided at the time it might have helped - also the dulling down of the initial tile sheen needs to be explained as we all expected a finish as shown in the photograph on the Tile Doctor web site.

A very efficient job done on time with no fuss and no mess. The floor was transformed as was the whole kitchen. It has remained that way since. We also had carpets cleaned at the same time and the whole job was cheaper than laying Lino on the kitchen floor to cover it up. Thank you. Derek 10/10/13

The 2 boys done an outstanding job in the kitchen, the slate floor looks brand new, I did not realise there were so many different colours in the floor. The bathroom grout is perfectly white, I did not expect the results that I got, great job. I will be telling all my family and friends to recommend the tile doctor !!!
