I was very impressed with Phil's quality of work, our kitchen limestone floor is as clean and bright as it must of been when first laid over 20years ago. Phil gave regular communication throughout the process, arrived on time, and was polite and informative. Nice one tile doc.

Phil has completely transformed our Victorian tiled hallway back to its former glory - he spent a full day with his team member patiently removing old glue, cement, deep dirt stains and also replacing missed tiles and finishing with a deep clean. Day two he carefully ensured the area was fully clean and restored as far as was practically possible prior to applying 3 layers of mat finish polish. The result is stunning , better than we could have hoped for. Phil has a wealth of experience and this has shone through with the finished effect in our hall . We had a large area of our cottage floor refurbished by Phil and Paul. Having cleared the work area in anticipation of their arrival they didn't waste anytime getting on with the task in hand. They worked quickly and efficiently working through the cottage systematically reducing the impact on our day to day lives. In these COVID times I had every confidence in the protective measures put in place including social distancing, wearing of face coverings and arriving self sufficient. No teas and coffees to be made for this professional pair. The resulting finish of the tiles is as promised. I really didn't think my tiles could shine! Will definitely use again and recommend to others.

When we originally contacted Phil I was seriously thinking about changing the travertine tiles that ran through the whole ground floor as they looked so grimy and horrible but he assured me that they could be brought back to their former glory..he was absolutely right! They look amazing now..like a new floor! They were very professional throughout...from initial advice and quote to completing the job including renewing grout and filling in holes and cleaning. We left them to it while we took ourselves and dogs out of the way...everywhere left tidy and clean..would absolutely recommend them to anyone wondering whether to get tiles cleaned.

I've been very happy with the service and communication with Phil from start to finish. The cleaning of our very dirty and tired looking terracotta floor was a straightforward process and Phil and his assistant were very friendly and helpful throughout the 2 days they were here. The floor now looks like new, with the rich and varied colours of our tiles shining through and complimenting our new kitchen units. Thank you for a job well done. It's not a cheap option, but it's certainly cheaper than taking up a terracotta floor and laying something new that definitely won't have the unique qualities of a natural product or the longevity either.

Phil and his team worked a Terrazo floor which had been hidden under lino for about forty years and was covered in old adhesive and other gunk. The result as a sparkling clean and sealed floor ready for out new kitchen to be installed!

The cleaning and recolouring of the grouting is first class so that the 'high traffic' areas no longer stand out. We had literally thrown every product & mechanical device, not to say elbow grease at our tiles in an attempt to restore them to their former glory. We were still disappointed with the appearance of the tiles & found the Tile Doctor website whilst trawling the internet, looking for further advice so decided to ask them for a quotation.
Phil Barrs visited & advised that he thought he could improve on our efforts so we booked him (although I have to say we were a bit sceptical) When Phil had finished the job, I have to say that we were delighted with the outcome. The tiles look great & we so wish we'd called the Tile Doctor first!!
