Our limestone floor has been done 7 years and was tired. Barry and his mate arrived on time and steamed into it. The first clen was transformational and then was followed by diamond pad honing, sealing and a final buff polish. He explained how to maintain it and the correct Tile Doctor product to use. It will inevitably deteriorate so I will get Barry back when needed.

Barry was prompt and very efficient in arranging a site survey to provide a quote. He was extremely knowledgeable about the flooring and issues we had. The cost was really competitive and once the work was booked in he carried out the work on time with no issue. This was to the communal areas of a block of flats so it has the potential to disrupt many residents but everything went smoothly and we had no complaints.

When we ripped up the carpet I was disappointed to see how dirty and damaged the tiles where and I didn't think they could be salvaged. Barry and his colleague got to work cleaning all the glue and paint off the tiles and repairing the damaged ones, and left it looking spotless. I am so pleased with the transformation, thank you!

My daughter drew on our limestone fireplace and I was worried by trying to clean it myself I would make it worse. Barry came out and had it clean in no time and even got rid of some general grime that had accumulated. I am very glad I called because I am fairly certain if I had tried it myself I would have ended up damaging the fireplace. He also left me some products and advice for if it happens again. If you are in two minds about whether to tackle a similar issue yourself I would strongly recommend contacting Barry, I am glad I did.

Hundred year old bricks, hundreds of layers of paint, splashed with cement, crumbling lime grout Barry dealt with it all with endle s patience, perseverance and good humour, working with us to problem solve and test different options in order to get the result we wanted. I cannot recommend this service enough. The Oxford Tile doctor (Barry) was a super star, he cleaned up the tiles in my hallway which were covered in a very thick layer of glue and also removed concrete from th tiles. When we moved into our house we lifted the carpets and found some lovely old tiles under the floors, lovely but in need of being brought back to life. Barry cleaned them up and resealed them. Now they look great again!

Tile Doctor provided outstanding customer service. From the person I spoke with on the phone to the person who came out to sort my tiles. They answered straight away, arranged for the person in my area to contact me within half an hour and he came that afternoon! Tiles look great now, very very pleased. The representative in my area was very knowledgeable and found the solution to the problem. I will use Tile Doctor again, if I need to.

Our options were a completely new floor or renovate the existing quarry tiles. We were glad we chose renovation, the results are amazing and a lot less messy and expensive than a new floor!

The whole process was of the highest quality. Barry arrived promptly and worked with great care. The floor is partly new terracotta tiles and partly Victorian quarries both needing considerable cleaning. I am delighted with the result. The floor has a wonderful glow and is also much easier to keep clean.

We found the Tile Doctor online and watched some of the very helpful slideshows on youtube. The Victorian quarry tiles in our 12th Century church had been covered with carpet for many years and needed a thorough clean and polish at the end of our major restoration project. Delighted with the restoration of our old terracotta floor, which also had very dirty grout. Looks like new. Barry was punctual, reliable and pleasant to deal with. He came back to touch up a tile that had leaked salts (not his fault) very willingly and wouldn't accept any extra payment. Barry cleaned the floor (ceramic tiles with uneven surface) and also cleaned and sealed the grouting. The tiles now look just as they were when they were first laid. He also gave me lots of useful tips on how to maintain them.

I can't remember when I was contacted. We were about to go on holiday so the work was arranged to start on our return. We are delighted with the result. It wasn't easy being without a kitchen for a couple of days, but at least we could go out of one door and in at another to gain access to other parts of the house. Mr. Woodward was very hard working and he was faced with a very hard job to do on the fireplace. He worked extremely hard to get the soot and the grime my tenants had badly abused my stone fireplace. There are some marks that just wood not come off. Very pleased with what he managed to do

When we moved into the cottage the quarry tiles in the kitchen were stained black and were very sticky and looked as if oil or grease had been spilt on them. The floor looked so awful that my husband said it would have to be replaced. However, after Barry had cleaned and sealed it, the floor sparkled and we could see that there was a mixture of cream and red tiles; the transformation was amazing, far exceeding what we had expected. It has made a tremendous difference to the kitchen. The window sills were also quarry tiled and were very grubby and messy, especially where the cement grouting had been smeared across them and left for the last 10 years. Barry removed as much of this as he could before sealing them and they looked greatly improved. I would definitely recommend Dr Tile to any potential customers.
