Entrance hall got trashed in a flash flood, but found the original Victorian stone floor underneath when I took out the carpet. Though the slabs were sadly grey, stained and showing years of neglect, after a couple of days cleaning, sanding, repointing and sealing by Russell and Heidi I now have glowing gingerbread-coloured sandstone paving my hallway.

The 200 year old rough slate tiles were uncovered during a renovation. Russell’s Team removed all the concrete and old carpet tape, repointed and created a smoother surface which was still in keeping with the age of the cottage. We are very pleased with the results.

Had dried grout marks on bathroom tiles. John worked hard and got the tiles looking pretty good. Unfortunately some of the marks returned after the work was complete, but he came back to give it another go. It's still not quite perfect, as some of the marks are still visible, but that is partly down to the stubborness of them, and in general it's good enough.

We needed a tradesman to replace the sealant in our showers and clean the tile grout. This is not the easiest service to source as most are not interested in this type of work. We had to wait a while for our appointment as Tile Doctor are very busy. (probably a good sign). However, communication was good and Russell arrived on the agreed date. Russell's work was very good leaving the showers looking like they were new. He also provided advice about how to avoid sealant and grout dirt and mould build up in the future. Russell was also very friendly and tidy, leaving the bathrooms completely clean after his work. Would recommend Tile Doctor without hesitation.

Tile Doctor provide an excellent, reasonably priced and thoroughly professional service. They are dedicated to restoring old floors and take great care and pride in their work. Initially i was told by another so-called specialist that my glue-covered red and black Victorian tile kitchen floor was unlikely to be restorable? I was so disappointed i was on the point of recovering it with flooring. No need! When I sent TD the same pics they said "No Problem" and 2 weeks later after their visit i had a beautiful original restored floor which i hope you can appreciate on their web site. It had been covered over with carpet for at least 50 years that we know of and was heavily soiled with concrete/plaster and generally in poor condition. It now looks amazing,a real feature. Very happy with the outcome with regards to the cleaning, polishing and resealing of our natural stone tiles. Whilst my tiles are cleaned everyday by myself the grouting just never looked clean in parts, but what a difference it has made to having the Grout Restoration put down the grouting now looks like it used to be when the tiles were first laid. Heidi and Russell brought back to life our beautiful Victorian tile mosaic which was in dire need of restoration with two big patches of tiles missing and filled with cement and some other tiles cracked. We were very happy with the result and everything was as they had explained. Both Heidi and Russell were very approachable and honest. Russell was also able to give us a reference to replace some of our missing fireplace tiles which we are very grateful for as it worked ou very well for us. So we definitely recommend Heidi and Russell.

I rang Tile Doctor to enquire about the service it provided. Heidi came round that afternoon and demonstrated the products that could be used to clean my kitchen floor tiles. I immediately booked an appointment! I have in the past tried all sorts of products/machines to try and clean my floor tiles to no avail. My kitchen floor is now as good as new.. We anticipated some damage to skirting boards, toxic odours from harsh chemicals and considerable mess but the work was very controlled and confined, chemicals were not toxic and damage to skirting boards minimal. Very good, professional service. Listened to my concerns re being on a private water supply and soak-away system meaning very strong chemicals not being suitable and acted accordingly. The floor did clean up well (not quite as well as I would have liked but I don't think this is a fault of the tile doctor more the nature of terracotta tiles) it now has a nice shiny finish - just need to get used to it looking so shiny. I would definitely recommend especially if you want a fresh look to old tiles.

Fantastic service from start to finish. 100% trustworthy. Bathroom floor is like new - I thought prior to the tile doctor visit that I would end up having to get a new floor as unknown products/chemicals had built up over the years. Not a water/chemical mark can be seen. Visitor to the house mentioned it is like a new floor!! I would thoroughly recommend Heidi and I shall be using her in future to maintain all our hard/ceramic floors!!

We thought the tiled floor was beyond hope with plaster, paint and foaming sealer marks after some building work. Heidi removed all the contaminants, cleaned the floor so that it looked as good as new, and then sealed it so that it looked even better! Marvellous service and lots of advice on how to keep the new look.
