I was having a new kitchen fitted in the New Year and didn’t want to spend more on new floor tiles, as they were in good condition- it was really just the grout that looked very tired, so I contacted the tile doctor.
Jozsef’s communication was excellent and he responded very quickly to all my queries and questions. He arrived exactly when he said he would, and was very professional and polite. I was absolutely thrilled with the cleaning of my kitchen and utility floor tiles and couldn’t believe how they and the grout looked like new (despite being 15 years old). I have recommended him to family and friends.
Jozsef also cleaned my bathroom wall tiles, and again I was thrilled with the work done- they also looked like new!

We contacted Shropshire Tile Doctor to ask about resurfacing a stone coffee table and two side tables, which are beautifully veined but had developed marks and scratches after many years of wear and tear. They would be very expensive to replace so sought advice from Jozsef before booking.
Jozsef is very polite, amenable and skilful - a pleasure to have in our house. He arrived on time and he set about the task respectful of carpets, furniture, soft furnishings and of us. He explained clearly what he was doing, checked as he did the work that we were still content with progress and did an outstanding job. He then explained in detail how we should care for the surfaces in future, before clearing up very thoroughly.
We are delighted with the outcome and would recommend him very highly, not only for his superb craftsmanship but also for the advice he gives and the time he takes to discuss your project both before and throughout the work.

I was put in contact with him very quickly, and he was extremely helpful and thorough in his replies to my queries about treating an old engineering brick paver floor. It was so helpful to be able to put dates in the diary with exact details of what was required in advance. He was very professional in his approach and level of information given. We are very pleased with the results as it certainly makes the floor easier to clean, having received a deep clean followed by an impregnating sealer. We have tested it thoroughly by having 2 muddy dogs and some guests dropping a glass bottle of beer on the floor. From our first contact to the completion of what ended up being a larger job than anticipated, Joe was the ultimate professional being punctual, polite and extremely knowledgeable on both flooring tiles (ours ere a mix of Spanish slate), grout and the appropriate cleaning /sealing products. Kitchen, utility, pantry and conservatory floors were tackled after years of neglect (not by us I hasten to add) and we were not disappointed at all with the results. The floors are stunning, once again and having been correctly sealed we look forward to many more years of use but won't hesitate to get Joe back if we need a refresh or spot cleaning! A big thank you to jozsef for an excellent job on repairing and cleaning our Victorian tile entrance hall. It was was in a very sorry state when we lifted the carpet and discovered it. The floor is a feature of an era gone by, so being able to show it off makes us very happy. When jozsef came to assess the floor for what needed to be done he didn't make any false claims about what to expect as the floor was carpeted over for 20 + years and had a rubber underlay which over the years had degraded underneath. After the job was finished its more than a 100% better. ??????

Joe worked so diligently all the time he was working at our house, I was most impressed. He communicated well when there were options for replacing tiles or attempting to clean them, and also concerning an area where we wanted the tiled floor extended into a new doorway, not there when the original floor had been laid. His creativity has meant we will not have to replace a door liner to move the position of the door as we had thought we might. recently had my floor done by Joe and I have to say ,the results are amazing. I have had this work done before ,but never have I seen such fabulous results. We are absolutely delighted with it, and Joe, well he is one of the nicest young men you could wish to meet.He works so hard and is truly a perfectionist. Joe did an excellent job of cleaning and resealing the terracotta tiles on my kitchen floor. He even came back on a third occasion ( the work having originally been planned for two days) in order to make sure he'd done the best possible job. Jo was professional from the first moment of contact. He quickly arranged to make a home visit and was honest about what he could do with the floor, a 100 year old Victorian/Edwardian floor with no damp proof course. He was apologetic that there would be a delay of 4 weeks before he could come to do the work - but he has such a huge area to cover this was completely understandable. On arrival he worked solidly for 3 consecutive days and the final result was all I could have wished for. I'm only sorry I didn't do this sooner! I have already recommended him to several friends and will continue to do so.

I have a Victorian terraced house with a geometric tiled floor with broken tiles that needed repairing. Some of the original tiles had been allowed to come loose allowing dirt to get underneath The object was to bring the floor back in keeping with the age of the house. Joe did an excellent job with fitting all the tiles without disturbing the original layout of the floor, and making good the loose. He provided a few extra tiles himself to fit sizes I could not obtain. The final finish blended in the new large red tiles perfectly.

Jo was excellent during the initial visit to look at the problem I had with my textured limestone floor and explained to me how it could be cleaned. I was so disappointed with how dirt had collected in the deep texture of my floor in high traffic areas spoiling its appearance. I am very pleased with how Jo cleaned and restored the floor with a deep clean and explained to me how to clean the floor in the future to reduce the dirt collecting in the deep texture of the floor. We have found the service of Tile Doctor excellent. We had a prompt response to our enquiry and a quotation was given on the first visit. We then contacted Jozsef to say we wanted to go ahead. The work was carried out the following week to our satisfaction. Jozsef was very accommodating and thorough in his work. His main aim was to leave us with the finish on the floor that we wanted. The tiles in our hall are over 110 years old and have always been a feature of the house and been admired, but now they have been restored and sealed we feel they will be appreciated even more. Mr Hoffmann did a splendid job on my badly stained floor. I did not expect such an improvement. I had forgotten that the grout was light coloured until he cleaned it. His work was very thorough.
Also, even though he had to travel about 75 miles he always arrived on time and had every piece of equipment necessary for the job. In future he is going to maintain my floor and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to others.
