Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

Dear customer, in order to protect drivers and customers alike from the risk of infection whilst delivering parcels our couriers have introduced a temporary change to the Proof of Delivery (POD) signature requirements. This change comes into effect from Saturday 14th March 2020 until further notice.
We will continue to differentiate between leave safe and signature parcels.
For Deliveries to residential addresses
If you have not specified a safe place to leave your delivery when ordering the driver will follow the procedure below:
Your driver will place the parcel on the doorstep and knock on the door. He will then step back two meters and explain the reason for the new procedure. He will not request a signature but simply ask for your name. If no one answers the door a card will be left as usual asking the customer to get in touch.

Deliveries to a Business Premise
Your driver will ask where you would like the parcel placed maintaining a 2-meter distance from business staff wherever possible.
The driver will explain that because we are taking extra precautions over Coronavirus, we do not require a signature. Instead, the driver will enter the recipient’s name into the surname field and the letters CV into the signature field.


Orders received after 13:00 will be dispatched the following working day. Although we aim for Next Day delivery and have a good reputation for achieving this target our couriers do not guarantee it and have been struggling to keep up with the increased demand following the lockdown, especially in cities.

If goods arrive in a damaged condition or if there is a shortage in delivery you must note this on the carrier’s delivery schedule. It is your responsibility to inform us within three days of delivery of any damages or shortages. including but not limited to those regarding price.

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn from sale at any time. If for any reason goods ordered are not available you will be offered an alternative or given a full refund. All goods remain the property of Tile Doctor until full payment is received.


Tile Doctor is VAT registered with registration number GB 891 2268 09 and its products are shown with prices inclusive of VAT at the current rate.
Nextday delivery to most UK destinations is charged at £5.50 for a one litre product and £10 for two or more litres; unfortunately we have to charge £5 to £10 extra for delivery to Norther Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Islands including Isle of Man and Isle of White. For other destinations or express delivery options including Saturday please contact us before placing your order.

Should you decide you do not require the goods, they can be returned within 14 days of receiving them (at your own expense) for a refund. Goods must be returned in their original packaging and in a perfect condition. If any item is returned damaged we reserve the right to make a charge in line with our costs.

All sales shall be deemed to be between Buyer (you) and Seller (us) upon the Terms and Conditions of sale. In the event of conflict between these Conditions and any put forward by the buyer, these Conditions shall prevail.
